What is Direct Primary Care (DPC)?

• Direct primary care (DPC) is a care model  that allows a more direct relationship between a patient and his/her doctor without insurance hassles and bureaucracy. Instead of accepting or billing health insurance, we charge a low monthly membership fee. No co-pays, billing confusion, lack of access or complicated scheduling.   It is a like a monthly gym membership... but with your doctor. 

• DPC model is all about access to your doctor on YOUR terms and when YOU need it. Don’t feel like coming in for a visit? Just send your doctor a text.  Prefer to discuss something over the phone? Great. Want to email over more details? Feel free. Hate to leave the house, but want to see your doctor face-to-face? A virtual video visit is a great option. The point is, when you need something, your doctor is there to respond. No more waiting weeks for appointments only to have long waiting rooms or 7min visit with your doctor.

• We believe traditional health insurance or a catastrophic plan should still be there when you need it. Serious illness and expensive unanticipated events are always a risk. We simply believe you can enhance your healthcare experience with a combination of a DPC and a high-deductible insurance plan or a health share plan. We feel strongly, insurance should not interfere with routine primary and preventative care by specifying which doctor you can see, reducing access to your doctor, shortening office visits, and increasing costs.
